New gardens, new flowers, new plants new attractions are the order of the day for this year’s Open Gardens.

Sundays June 17th and 24th 2018    10am till 4 pm

Provided that the weather is kind to us we should have no problem equaling, if not surpassing, last year’s magnificent amount raised of nearly £14,000 whilst treating the good people of Cottingham and district to the delights of some of the most beautiful gardens of the area.

All the gardeners are working hard to get their gardens ready for the public as well as arranging a great variety of activities, entertainment and refreshments in order to raise as much as possible for this very worthy cause. Each host has brought has brought their own personality and twist to the event with gardens coming in a wide range of varieties and styles.

There will be choirs and Morris dancers appearing in some of the gardens.

We even have an international flower judge who will give us the benefit of his years of experience growing and developing Pinks and Carnations.

Last but not least is the fact that you will be able to participate again in the grand Lottery with loads of magnificent prizes; the top one being the P&O Mini Cruise to Amsterdam or Zeebrugge.

“Passports” which allow the holder to visit all of the gardens are priced at £4 with accompanied children free.

Passports will be available at the Duke of Cumberland, the Bluebell and Barkers in the village during the fortnight preceding the event and at all the gardens on the day.

Come and have a lovely relaxing an entertaining day
